ESQUIVEL is a Uruguayan DJ, producer and devoted music collector with over three decades behind the decks.
 

A passionate digger committed to uncovering rare musical gems, his sound is rooted in deep groove culture: blending disco, balearic, house and soulful rhythms with refined taste and timeless sensibility. Long established within the Latin American scene, he is known for extended vinyl-only sessions that unfold into immersive, instinct-driven journeys.
 

First brought to Mexico by the British Ministry of Sound, a country he now calls home, ESQUIVEL has performed at prestigious festivals such as Trópico, Ondalinda, La Calaca, Soy Ser and Burning Man, sharing stages with Miguel Migs, Ray Mang, JKriv, DJ Tennis, Dicky Trisco, Kon and The Rapture, among others.

A career highlight includes performing at the only official Studio 54 party ever held in Mexico alongside Kool & The Gang and KC & The Sunshine Band, a testament to his deep-rooted connection to disco heritage.
 

With releases on labels such as Cosmica Music, Spa in Disco and DRecords, and through his weekly Mumbo Jumbo radio show, ESQUIVEL continues to champion authentic groove culture across borders and generations.
