My name is XAVIER, I'm from Brazil and a long time music lover.

When I prepare a set, I look for sounds that feel timeless and a little unexpected.

I think I have an ear for both the unusual and the classic. I like to mix — from tropical rhythms to deeper grooves — and I don’t worry too much about defining genres.

I'm kind of into the idea that anything goes.

I’m guided by texture, tone, and a certain strangeness. More than fitting into styles, I try to create something that sounds like me. Something authentic.

Something that reflects that moment in time musically for me, things I've been listening lately, music I've saved, discovered and I go from there.

I often imagine what kind of setting that set could be played in — a hot afternoon, a lit-up dance floor, a landscape I haven’t found yet.
