We’re proud to announce the launch of MAKONGA Records, a brand-new sub-label born under the Saint Wax family and created by DJ and producer GLEDD.

Makonga is more than a label — it’s a project dedicated to Ritmos del Mundo, celebrating the richness of world rhythms and global sounds. Its mission is to bring together cultures, traditions, and contemporary grooves, creating a musical space without borders.

Every Makonga release will reflect this vision: a fusion of heritage and innovation, with artists from different backgrounds sharing their unique influences and sounds.

But Makonga doesn’t stop at music releases. It’s also a travelling party and international event series, bringing DJs from around the world to the dancefloor to create unforgettable nights of connection, energy, and cultural celebration.

With its distinct visual identity inspired by colorful fabrics and postage stamps, Makonga represents a journey — in sound, in image, and in spirit.
