SIRS

SIRS (Daniel Klein) is a German DJ, producer and label owner whose career spans more than three decades at the forefront of European house culture.
Born in Hamburg and now based in Berlin, Daniel began his journey behind the decks in 1990, quickly becoming a defining figure in Germany’s early house movement. By the mid-90s, he had already released one of the country’s first official DJ mix compilations, Definition of House, and gained national recognition alongside pioneers such as Dixon, Tiefschwarz and Boris Dlugosch.
In 1996, he became the first German resident DJ at Ibiza’s legendary Space Club, co-curating the iconic Sunday morning sessions Happy People in the Morning. From underground productions under the alias Kiez Kidz to co-founding Flamingo Discos with Kiko Navarro, Daniel has consistently shaped soulful and forward-thinking house music across decades.
Today, under his SIRS (Sounds in Real Stereo) moniker, he explores cosmic disco, balearic soul, boogie and deep house through his label Sirsounds Records. His SIRS Cuts vinyl series has achieved cult status among selectors worldwide, supported by key tastemakers and respected diggers alike.
Whether as producer, curator or master selector, SIRS continues to pursue a timeless mission: delivering soulful energy, authentic groove and real stereo sound to dancefloors around the world.
